Remembrance and Reason • Best 60ish Seconds

On the 25th anniversary of September 11th, Charlie remembers the nearly 3,000 souls lost, the heroes of Shanksville, and those who still stand watch. The threat remains, and eternal vigilance is the price we must pay.

Turning to politics, Charlie highlights Senator John Fetterman’s surprise video appearance at the Republican midterm convention. The Pennsylvania Democrat praised Republican Senator Dave McCormick while condemning the far-left voices and socialism overtaking his own party. Charlie also credits Fetterman for standing firmly with Israel and the Jewish people.

Next comes the “M&Ms”—Maine and Michigan—where Senate races could strengthen the Republican majority. Susan Collins faces Troy Jackson in Maine, while Mike Rogers and Abdul El-Sayed are locked in a close Michigan contest.

Charlie closes by wishing Jewish friends a blessed Rosh Hashanah and High Holy Days. L’Shanah Tovah.
