Election Day is almost here, and Charlie starts close to home. He makes the case for returning Congressman Scott Perry to Washington and has some pointed words for challenger Janelle Stelson as Pennsylvania again takes center stage in the battle for the House.
The familiar “M&M’s”—Maine and Michigan—are back, too. Charlie shares his optimism about Susan Collins and his hopes for a Mike Rogers victory, with President Trump and former President Obama heading to Michigan for the final campaign push.
Then it’s off to Charlie’s native Brazil, where he’s rooting for his friend Flávio Bolsonaro in Sunday’s presidential runoff. He also has strong words about the unrest in France and its government’s response.
On the sports front, baseball is closing in on a champion, while Charlie’s beloved Eagles give him more reasons to worry—including serious concerns about Jalen Hurts’ health. Finally, he remembers Tom Skerritt, Top Gun’s unforgettable Viper, with a family connection and a fond farewell. May he rest in peace
